Winters N to NE provide side side off to side shore winds. The more NE the better the wind direction and waves. Flatter water can be found closer to the jetty, but fishermen may be present. Anything west of N becomes to far off shore. Spring, Summer early fall SE prevailing winds are on side on.
Weather:
Winters cold fronts can be in 40's to 50's. Some rain precede the fronts with clearing and wind afterwards. Water temps can be in the upper 40's to 50's. Longs suits suggested for winter. Spring, Summer and Fall temps range from the 70's to 90's. Shorties for early spring and fall. Water temps range from the mid 70's to upper 80's.
