In the last years kitesurfing in Conil de la Frontera has developed to be a very popular sport.
Is better to visit Conil outside the main season, in order to fully enjoy the wind, waves and beach away from the summer crowd.

Wind details:
The western wind Poniente is side-onshore and brings 4-6 Bft depending on the time of the year (bring your 12-16m kites).
The eastern wind Levante builds up quickly and reaches between 6 and 9 Bft. It's side-offshore from the left and gustier that Poniente. Riding it with a small board and latest generation kite is definitely challenging and demands a very high level of kitesurfing skills.
