A nice beach with lots of space and a very nice landscape. A breakwater protects the beach. At low tide a couple of rocks apear in the middle.

Wind details:
• Wind: the Nortada is too weak here, but Westerly summer sea-breezes build enough power for bigger kites. Windsurfs rarely go off here. Best directions are SW/E.
• Weather: summer in the Algarve is dry and clear (air 28°C, water 19°C), with the warm sunshine extending long into autumn. Mild in winter (air 15°C, water 15°C). A long wetsuit is needed from Spetember to March, due to the cold waters found in portugal.
On the water:
Waves:
choppy or rough
Consistency:
scarce (5-20 days/yr)
