Świnoujście is a port town on the northern coast of Poland, near the German border. It is situated at the north coast of the islands Wolin and Uznam at a wide, long sandy beach. It is known historically by its German name, Swinemuende. The beach gets packed in summer.

Summer nice and warm. Usually a wetsuit is always needed, but high summer just shorts on warm days. Water can get up to 22°C. Fall and spring a thick wetsuit is needed, winter cold but possible to surf.
