Lakes Bay (New Jersey) is the body of water where most of the Kitesurf and Windsurf goes on. The spot is located at rear of the Hampton Inn hotel.
Killer flatwater, no current weeds or boat traffic. Best wind is anything with SOUTH in it. The Launch is tight but doable sand bottom w/little to no beach obstacles. A quick run out gets you into some slick water Great for flatwater jumps. The bottom is muddy, so you may experience a quicksand effect in the standing area. Beware of the crab traps. Ideal spot to learn as well as shred!

Spacious parking area. Bathrooms inside of the hotel. Shower stall is situated out in the parking lot. Windsurf shop and windsurf gear rental onsite.
