Barra Grande Kitesurfing Piauì

Barra Grande is a very nice Kitespot. Simple fishing village and ambient protection area (APA). It has many deserted beaches. Parnaiba, 70 km from Barra Grande, has a hospital and is a good city where you can get almost everything.

It offers both ocean and lagoon: a 5Km ocean beach, with flat and shallow water on low tides, and small waves on the high tides. Perfect for all levels riders to improve their skills. Downwind 3km until the end of the beach, where a huge flat water lagoon forms up during the high tides, so, twice a day.
