The NE monsoon is the season for advanced kiters, with winds pushing 20 knots or more and a sea heaving with 2m swell or higher that has a habit of breaking both far out and closer to shore.
The SW monsoon is a milder wind of about 15 knots max. It does occasionally exceed this, but generally it is a more sedate breeze, ideal for long runs.
Our massively broad beach, easy for launching and landing your kite, rounds off the perfect picture.
It should come as no surprise to learn that our center is also the best season to learn how to kite-surf, because the waters tend to be sheltered and calm.
So come on, grab some air at Tanjung Resang!
