Weather:

Malindi, being only 300km south of the equator, maintains a steady year long warm climate. This combined with the Indian Ocean 's cool sea breezes maintains Malindi’s perfect 'never too hot, never too cold' climate. Nearly every day of the year is a perfect 12hr day, with sunrise a little after 6am, and sunsets at about 6pm. It can get a little chilly at night time so bring a light sweater just in case. Temperatures: Oct - April: Relatively hot and humid due to the north-easterly winds. (Jan-April - Hottest) May - Sept: Wet and fresher due to the south-easterly winds. (July -Aug - Coldest) Rains: May-June: Big Rains heavy downfalls that last a few hours. November: Typically the month of the short rains/storms which last only a few minutes.
