Santa Croce Lake: Shore

Medium-size lake at the beginning of italian alps. The shore type varies from little stones to medium ones in dried mud to mud and sand depending on the water level.
Easy accessible by car thanks to two parking lots (price: 1EUR first hour, 50c each further hour), no free parking.
There's a camp site (http://www.sarathei.it/) right behind the shore, it's cheap and mostly frequented by surfers. Inside the camp site there's a kite school.
Many people just sunbathing on the shore.
Overall atmosphere is easy and friendly.

The spot is at about 400 meters of altitude, so expecially in spring/autumn water might be cold (12-15 C in late May / beginning of June). A full 3/5 wetsuit is advisable in spring. In summertime a shorty or no wetsuit at all. Because of stones on the shore and, in some parts, on the bottom wetsuits boot are highly reccomended. Normally from Jun - Sep the air temperature is warm during the day while in the evenings some long sleeves sweater won't hurt.
