You have to be confident enough to launch your kite from the tunnel. Is not rare to see kites smashed on the rocks or threes right out of it. Also you need to be able to stay upwind, as if you loose too much water (1 km) then start the galleries and next stop is Torbole. Anyway nothing an intermediate rider cannot do. Flotation vest required. Police often checks. Not a beginners spot. Do not keep the kite on zenith at when launching or landing. Always have assisted landing and landing. There's a fee to be payed to the kitebeach tenders of €10 per day or €50 for the whole season. Stay OFF the windsurfing area south of the tunnel!

Weather:

Shorty in summer because the water is quite cold. Winter is too cold.
