Ladys Mile is a very good spot for beginners due to it's very shallow and wide sandy shore. The only problem - onshore wind there is only in november-april period. All other time it is offshore. This beach is very long, with lot of space to launch and land and no obstacles.

From Limassol go to the new port and on new port roundabout turn to the road that go near the port. Then turn first left. Go another 5km straight until you will see open beach. Road there not very good...

You can go to mountains for a barbeque, walk. Just to travel. Cyprus is beautiful island. Very good food. I recomend you Pork Chop... pork meet is very good there :)
