Kitespot in front of Lake Ainsworth Campsite

Nice long beach, best spot around Ballina, Byron Bay. Some days, when wind is NE, you can enjoy to do a long downwind from the top north of the beach.
South Easterly winds are usefull to start your downwinder from the shop and ktie downwind along 7 mile beach. 4x4 cars are allowed on the beach to get your mate to collect you and bring you back to town. If teh wind is a bit more offshore and the waves are big then its a good time to go kiting at flatrock 3 minutes down south. This is a point break of a flat point that allows the wind to blow the waves smooth and creates some nce waves for down the line waveriding.
