Some of the east coast's best kiting locations are on the Sunshine Coast. The beautiful Pumicestone Passage in Caloundra is hard to top, access is from Golden Beach 3-4 hours either side of low tide is best. Any breeze with some east in it is good for here although the prevailing south easters are best.
