This lagoon it's ideal to learn kitesurf, during all year but attention, to the winter winds when it rain the wind get stronger with the movement of the clouds, with variations between 15 to 30 knots.

Weather:

Algarve's weather is mild with Mediterranean influences; temperatures are between 15º degrees on winter and 30º degrees on summer. Algarve characterized with lots of sunny days along all year and few raining periods usually between November and March. This region offers terrific weather conditions for touristy activity development.

Wind conditions

Wind details:

From May till September it offers excellent conditions for the practice of Windsurf and Kitesurf, the predominant wind on this season in northwest. Usually during morning the wind strength is between 10 till 20 knots, increasing at 14H to 25 till 40 knots, except certain days that the wind are constant from southwest with 10 to 30 knots. During winter usually the wind arrives from southwest with 15 to 35 knots. Sometimes the wind it's from southeast (from North Africa) with 10 to 40 knots of strength.

The water temperatures are lovely too: 21 to 24°C in summer and 15 to 19 in the winter.
