The location does not have consistent winds. It is mostly hit or miss. During the summer season (Jun-August) there are restrictions on where the kite boarders can go, due to designated bathing areas for swimmers. The water is very shallow. It is a pretty good place for beginners to practice. The kite boarding instruction is very unorganised and not comprehensive. The name of the place is Radical Kite Centre. You can buy equipment and rent it from them. The owners are friendly on the surface, but lacking in technical knowledge and skill. If one is looking for lessons, it is better to search elsewhere.

From Nafplion, take the coastal road toward Nea Kios. Before arriving at Nea Kios, the beach will be on the left. It is virtually across the street from the prefecture's KTEO office (driver's license office, car registration and inspection offices).

When it gets really busy, there will be an area for beginners and lessons, and an area for experienced kite boarders. There will also be an area off limits because it is officially for swimmers/bathers only.
Weather:
Summer is terribly hot. April, May, September and October are nice months for air temperature. Wet suit needed April and May. Good luck on having the right winds. It's like winning the lottery.Members photo shoots:

The wind changes direction easily from day to day. It is not a reliable place. Have a lot of back-up plans in case the wind is either non-existent, too weak, or in the wrong direction.

There are a couple of minor rocks in the sea bottom, but not many. Ask the locals before going in.When is flat
Day activities:
There is some nice sightseeing in Nafplion and shopping. Argos and Nafplion have archaeological museums. Argos has an ancient theatre. Nafplion has Bourtzi Island castle and the Palamidi Fortress. Within an hour's drive are the important archaeological sites of Epidaurus and Mycenae.
Night scene:
There are many places for Friday and Saturday night nearby all year long. In the summer, Nafplion offers some outdoor choices.

Have bin there in July 2 Weeks. One day i we had no wind. Peopel from the School wer verry frendli and helpful. I have realy enjoid. In Tolos jou can find a camping. I was on camping Lido and liked it. Daniel
