Crystal clear seas, magnificent beaches and unforgettable sunsets. Place to relax and feel that you do not need luxuries to have fun. Suffice it to sea and sand. In Elafonisos will glad for what nature has created and the tornado, which they say the older large mass of sand transported from Africa and deposited in this island.The turquoise color sea lane that connects the Peloponnese Elafonisos is truly unique. Located almost opposite the village Bigklafia, shortly before the Naples (Batika). It is a small island with only one village, Hora, which is the port.For the name is a myth that once a stranded boat was loaded with deer. A female, who had inside her smalls deer, escaped and went to the deserted island and then a few years the place was filled with deer. When the island was inhabited, hunters kill them but the name stay.IN Elafonissos are wide, sandy beaches and in particular those of Simos and Sarakiniko.

Follow the journey by road from Athens through the national road Athens - Corinth - Tripoli - Sparta. After Sparta turn left to Krokees to Skala - Neapoli. After the Archangel and some kilometers on the right side you will see the sea and see Elafonissos.
