Cabarete is amazing. Kite beach is a ton of fun, and there are so many places to go kitesurfing it's never ending.
It makes a huge difference if you have a car, because you can kiteboard the entire island. It also makes the trip more exciting as many of the people who live here haven't even explored the island.
Stay at eXtreme hotel on kite beach , it totally rocks, and the people there are really friendly and it's right on the beach!
