Bol has become a popular destination for windsurfers and kitesurfers. The sea channel between the islands of Brac and Hvar and the wind that blows there provide good conditions for kitesurfing. The kitebeach in Bol is covered with pebbles and relatively small, but you can launch from the school there for a small daily fee. Lot of tourists in summer.

Island Brac has an international airport. Bol is situated on the south side of the island.

By plane
During summer months, Bol has excellent links with all larger European cities. Brac Airport is located only ten kilometers from Bol. Croatia Airlines, and other European air-carriers offer very favourable seasonal flights to both Bol and Split, since Split Airport is also close to Bol.

By train, bus and by car
Croatia and Bol have excellent highway and railway links with Europe. If you are already on Brac, you can look up everyday bus lines Supetar-Bol on the web pages of Autotrans Brac.

By ship

Beach rules:

No kiteboarding on the main beach "Zlatni Rat" in July and August. Only launch and land your kite at the kite school (7 Euro per day).

Temperature differences between seasons are mildered by influence of the sea which temperature is more stable, making the swimming here popular long in september. Cycling fans, among possibility of renting bikes, can take a part in organized cycling tours on Brac and Hvar (island opposite of Bol).
Climbers and heights admirers will find great spots for climbing, marked paths for walking and jogging on Vidova gora (780m), mountain above Bol.
Of other water-sports, Bol offers water skiing, Jet Ski and parasailing, and there is also possibility of renting sea-kayak or court for sandy volleyball.

Night scene:

Bol attracts allot of young population, always in the mood for rich and merry night life.
My recommendation for night out are Varadero and Aquarius as favourite surfers place.. There's a good disco in Bol where is easy to get on all night long.
