I ave been down in Mexico with Morph kiteboarding in Tulum for about 2 weeks now. It is stunningly beautiful down here. When the wind blows, I kite / teach, and when it doesn't we find other things to do. Two days ago, the wind was a little too low for me to head out under the kite, so I was sitting at the shop watching the other kiters on the water.

That day was not a simple "wind waiting" day... I noticed a sailboat sailing rather near shore, with very poor sail trim. A moment later I noticed that noone was inside the cockpit... The sailboat belonged to a guy named Fabien, from up the beach. I took off running and tried to head of the boat before it drifted too far, which I failed at miserably. By the time I go near it, the current and wind swept it well beyond my reach. At this point, Blaine (fellow kiteboarder I work with) was near by, so I flagged him down and asked him to drag me out to the boat. Apparently though I am quite a drag, because we couldn't keep up with it.

Another great adventure planned with MORPH Kiteboarding! We are heading up to Isla Blanca to enjoy the first solid North winds of the New Year! So if anyone is interested in joining us for kiteboarding lessons or just great adventures with the worldly MORPH team let us know as soon as possible.

As 2010 begins, so do the kiteboarding adventures on the Mayan Riviera. Slowly the wind is filling in and creating some great kiting, no matter what kind of riding you like to do. Kiteboarding has just begun and been greeted by a lot of excitement and anticipation as we open a school in one of the top rated, five star hotels on the Mayan Riviera. The two young instructors from Belgium and Canada are fitting in just perfectly and showing the Hotel guests what kiteboarding is all about!

on Sunday, we had the most spectacular day in Kite Beach Tulúm!
right on our spot at the Hotel Playa Azul, in Tulúm, the crew down at Morph Kiteboarding, were having a blast! teaching, kiting, just chilling out and having fun, you know, like no other place...that´s our Atmosphere here at Morph!
anyway, the conditions were great, there was a 12 mts ready for me, and I started kiting, to be quite honest, I ´ve been not feeling really inspired to kite for the last month or so, maybe because the season is ending, or I just don´t know.....however this day, I felt inspired and started flying my MORPH BEAST EH v3, and everything was just flowing...

Buen dia:

Day 1
A las 8:30 del día de hoy abrimos la tienda junto con Manolo (quien ya está un poco mejor de salud), Zoltan y María.
Hubo viento de 14 nudos durante la mañana que luego bajaron a 08 durante la tarde.
Zoltan dio clases a Jolanda Whaling, Suecia/EEUU, quien vino a Tulum para hacer yoga, vio el Kite y quiso aprender el deporte. Hizo dos horas hoy, comenzó con el trainer para luego explicarle como se arma y usa el kite n 6.
La otra clase la dio Pal, a la compañera de joga de Jolanda, Melissa, quién realizo dos horas de clases, una por la mañana y otra por la tarde, también comenzó con el trainer y luego armo y voló el kite n 10.

Day 2

Estuvimos hoy en el negocio a las 07:30 Hs junto con María y Zoltan, quien como es su última semana en México quiere aprovechar para navegar lo mas que pueda. El viento por suerte acompañó por que durante la mañana hubo 15 nudos y pudimos kitear un rato.
