Warning @ Sanur Beach RIPSCHOOL

Just came back from Bali yesterday, the whole week was amazing except the incident with RIP CURL school of Surf located in Sanur Beach Hotel. It is a total SCAM!!!
My husband really wanted to try Kite Surfing , so went there as it is the only kitesurf school in bali ( at least what we know from), and before we pay for the begineers course , which is $95 US for 2 hours per person ( quite expensive $$$), the owner was pretty cool and nice.

After we paid and had "classroom" lesson for an hour with "ZERO- enthusiasm" and attitude problems, he said there aren't any wind so we either come back in another time to finish the rest of the lesson or just "simply bad luck", plus it is 4 ish, almost time to close for them.

And in our sitution, we had other water sports planned for the next two days and then leave, so we either canel what we were suppose to do and come back or just forget about the $ paid.

Try Thailand!!!

I traveled to Thailand with no expectation as I know that expecting gives you nothing. www.cheapairlines.com gave me the opportunity to travel more cause it saves a lot of budget for me. I get to go down south of thailand first. Headed to Phuket and gave sea canoe a try. IT was fantastic. I loved it so much as I have never tried anything like that before in my life.

I went to Samui Island, the beach was so nice, White sand and clear water the weather is hot but bearable!!!

I went up to Chiangmai for some temples and museums!!! DOI SUTHEP was definitely a sight!

I went to a waterfall near BKK called " SARIKA" it was awesomely fine!! Not crowded and peaceful. I went rafting with some of my Thai friends, it was great fun and the environment was great. Took a train from BKK up to Kanchanabury, it was great.

People in Thailand are so nice and TUKTUK car, you should try it was great fun.

Isaan is where all the food at.

Saigon is fassssst!

Vietnam has never had more foreign tourists running about than now, and the tourism department expects more than two million to come this year - a sizeable increase from last year's already high numbers.
Arrived in Sai Gon on a cheap flight with a rush visa booked through http://www.vietnamvisaonline.net, I am also at the end of my trip and rewarding myself for good budgeting over the whole of my trip. Want to get home and make sure i also feel like i have had a holiday as travelling is VERY hard!!!
Saigon is fassssst! Motorcycle everywhere, same busy horns on vehciles and same crazy road rules apply where you have to cover everyone elses risks and they cover yours. It does seem to work though. I have acustomed myself to the local traffic and now find myslef very confident at crossign roads whislt surrounded by cars, bike and cyclos (rickshaws).

Laos to Vietnam overland

So basically we had heard lots of bad stories about crossing the northern crossings between the two countries, but since we were on a budget and didnt have all the time in the world we decided to go for it anyway.

The key part is off course the bordercrossing, and I must say it was much easier than expected. The only thing you need to do is get on the right bus. The bus leaves Phonsavan (get there by minibus/bus from Luang Prabang or Vientienne or whatever the day before) bus station at 6 in the morning and cost 136 000 Kip I think. We went to the bus station, and bought tickets there the morning we were going, but most locals just waved down the bus as it went back through the city and payed on the bus...

The bus leaves 4 days a week, find the days by google.

The reason why you want to take this bus is that it goes all the way to Vietnam (Vinh) :)
