Kiteatlas.com was first launched in beta on the 25th February 2007.
One year, a thousand of members and hundreds of spots later, we're here to say a "big up" to all the riders who signed up and contributed in making this website a premium resource for Kitesurfing and Travel!
Kiteatlas has been recognized by many kite blogs and actually ranks 13th in Google for the unique keyword "kitesurf", and 1st for may other kitesurf destinations related searches ('kitesurf spots', 'kite spots country), odiern Google USA data.
Many were the functionalities added in the last months:
- Email subscriptions to posts
- Google Earth support for spots
- Improved Riders profiles
- Kitesurf accommodations support
- Travel offers support
Yep, we're very excited to announce that the new Kiteatlas 2.0 is in the works: it will be faster, cleaner, more simple to use, and with new cool features too.
