I am thinking of going travelling to the US on my late 2012 and wanted to find out how other people found it. Roughly how much did it cost - where did you stay, did you move around, did you meet many people/friends etc?
Any advice would be great!

Y'know, I live in the U.S. and really it's not expensive. Well, Illinois isn't that expensive. But I would say if you stay for about a month, hmmm, maybe bring 5-8 thousand dollars if you're going to buy a lot of things.
